Executive Chef Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our culinary team. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring that our high standards of quality, cleanliness, and safety are met at all times.
The ideal candidate will have a Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery and a minimum of 5 years' experience working as a chef in either hotel or restaurant environments with at least 2 years' supervisory experience in kitchen operations. You will also need to hold a current food safety certification and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Lead and manage the kitchen team to ensure efficient service delivery and high-quality food production.
* Develop menus and recipes to meet customer demand and maintain the highest standards of taste, presentation, and nutritional value.
* Source and procure high-quality ingredients and supplies to support menu development and kitchen operations.
* Manage kitchen inventory and minimize waste by implementing effective stock control and ordering systems.
* Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment that adheres to health and safety regulations.
* Monitor and analyze kitchen performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will require:
* A Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery.
* At least 5 years' experience working as a chef in either hotel or restaurant environments.
* At least 2 years' supervisory experience in kitchen operations.
* A current food safety certification.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
