The Administration Assistant is responsible for assisting the delivery of Kick it Out (KIO) programs and services throughout Australia. These include programs specifically designed to target unsociable, negative and harmful behaviors along with programs and services tailored to suit the needs of disabled clients, hard to reach, indigenous and multicultural communities.
The Administration Assistant provide administrative assistance to senior staff in the co-ordination of community and education programs run throughout Queensland. Positions are casual or part-time and an ideal candidate will have an interest in supporting community and helping others, whilst demonstrating a positive attitude and personality. Training will be provided and the roles would suit those looking to enter the community sector, recent school leavers, or individuals who are looking for casual or part-time employment. No experience is necessary as these are entry level roles.
Position objectives
* Develop new program opportunities by engaging with local community members and/or groups.
* Support and assist the coordination and delivery of programs and services delivered to clients throughout Queensland.
* Assist in coordination of all sessions, venues, staff, contractors and materials required for the delivery of programs.
Required skills and experience
* Basic written and verbal communication skills
* An interest in community related activities
* Knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft office.

Pay: $26.00 – $41.16 per hour
