Your Role
As Senior Payroll Consultant, you will provide operational advice, leadership, and support to payroll teams, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant service delivery that meets departmental and client needs.
This position is located at Mt Gravatt, opposite Garden City shopping centre. Please note this recruitment process may be used to fill future vacancies.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading and supporting payroll teams in developing, implementing, and evaluating systems, policies, and procedures.
- Designing and implementing operational improvements to meet changing needs.
- Providing award, legislation, and policy interpretation, advice, and education to staff.
- Supporting training programs to strengthen capability and professional development.
- Monitoring staffing levels and resourcing to ensure service delivery standards are met.
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and systems for efficiency and productivity.
- Ensuring compliance with legislation, directives, and departmental policies.
- Contributing to an equitable, ethical, safe, and continuously improving workplace culture.
