About The Role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an organised and motivated individual to join our Shipping team. Located in Milperra, you will assist the Import Shipping Coordinator to support 8 branches across Australia and New Zealand. On the job training will be provided.
You will be proactive, accurate and efficient, taking ownership for your key accountabilities including:
* Create shipments within SAP and manage all shipping documentation
* Daily tracking of all shipping and liaise with Logistics partners and suppliers and ensure that all documentation is accurate and up-to-date
* Attend to supplier confirmations, changes to arrival dates and customer cancellations advising all relevant parties as required
* Check invoices and packing lists to purchase order requirements, noting and resolving errors
* Create accounts payable invoices and update if required
* Update excel spreadsheets and purchase orders
* Keep all receiving warehouses informed of the status of shipments
* Daily review of overdue orders and follow-up
* Monitoring supplier productions and goods ready dates
* Scheduling delivery of containers for 8 branches across Australia & New Zealand
* Receiving, checking and processing shipment invoices for payment
* General administrative tasks to support the Shipping team
About You
This role would suit a strong shipping administrator seeking their next challenge.
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate:
* Strong computer literacy, particularly with Excel
* Experience with SAP, although not essential, would be advantageous
* Excellent planning, organisational and problem solving skills
* Ability to multi-task and work unsupervised and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
* Maturity and a sense of urgency
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Excellent interpersonal, communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with customers and suppliers
