Qualifications
* Be friendly to customers (students and staff) and enjoy serving others
* Demonstrate and maintain good attendance
* Ability to work as a team player and lead a team
* Ability to see what needs to be done and assist where needed
* Ability and willingness to cross‐train for various duties/responsibilities in the kitchen/cafeteria
Duties and Responsibilities
* Food preparation, serving, and clean up
* Ensure food safety standards
* Work with computer technology for communication, inventory, point‐of‐sale, etc.
* Other duties as assigned by building principal and/or supervisor
Requirements
* Must be 18 years of age
* Have at least a high school diploma or GED
* Food service trainings
* Complete and pass an Expanded Criminal background and CPS Check
Preferred
* Work‐related experience in kitchen/food service and/or leadership/management
Compensation
Contracted days: 180 school days plus any required classified staff work days per school year.
