About The Role
Drug Health Services (DHS) aims to reduce the harms associated with substance use for individuals, families and communities and to prevent drug misuse. Our Mission is to deliver evidence based and patient centred care in collaboration with other health and non-health partners to improve the health outcomes of individuals, their families and broader community. Services are provided at Canterbury, Concord Repatriation General and Royal Prince Alfred Hospitals and at Canterbury, Marrickville and Redfern Health Centres. Selected programs offer services in community and via approved outreach arrangements.

The Operational Performance Manager is responsible for providing support to Drug Health Services (DHS) Executive and Managers in both clinical and corporate aspects of their portfolios. This position provides strategic leadership in the areas of clinical information and data quality management, analysis, continual service improvement and performance reporting in line with Ministry of Health, SLHD and Drug Health Services strategic priorities and relevant governance requirements.

Ideal Candidate

* Tertiary qualifications in a relevant health and/or management discipline, or equivalent experience.
* Experience in the delivery of health services management in a large and complex organisation with the ability to meet deadlines and manage shared portfolios with competing priorities.
* High level skills in data analysis, performance reporting and project management, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines within scheduled timeframes.
* Level computer skills to undertake complex data management, analysis and presentation using a range of computer software products. In SLHD these include Cerner, Oracle, STARS (Qiikview), SMR, ims+ and Enterprise Risk Management System (ERMS).
* Current NSW driver licence (P1 and P2 acceptable).
