The successful candidate would be joining an existing team and will shadow the current PAs for a full shift to see how things work, where things are kept and any questions, issues they may have.The candidate will need to have good communication skills, be reliable and flexible.The role involves making sure the gentleman is safe, giving him breakfast, lunch, (a meal to heat up in the oven or soup and toast) and evening.
Medication administration morning and evening.
Continence care involves emptying the catheter bag.
Moving and handling training will be given as the gentleman needs regular turning.There are some household duties i.e. stripping the bed and making sure the home is tidy.There's a 2 month probationary period to see if things are working out for both parties involved.There are 2 hypoallergenic dogs which visit regularly.
