Remuneration: $73, $104,753.00 pa (+ superannuation + salary packaging options) + NSW Health – Western NSW LHD Incentives (conditions apply and may be pro-rata'd to your contracted or ordinary working hours – to find out more, visit Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme)

About the role

A Speech Pathologist works as part of a multidisciplinary team including other health care professionals to ensure the maximisation of the client's abilities by using skills a client has and working to develop or improve areas of deficit. You will actively participate in clinical supervision and complete activities associated with clinical supervision as negotiated with supervisor in order to develop and maintain professional skills and deliver high quality care.

To be successful in this role you will need excellent written and oral communication skills, be well organised, a good time manager, empathetic, patient, and able to work independently or in a team. Good problem solving ability and being able to adapt to diverse client groups is also required, and to understand the needs of patients/clients and their families, and ensure delivery of high quality patient centred care.
