We work shift work on a rotating roster across day, afternoon and night shift and are currently looking for dedicated Machine Operators and Production & Packing Team Members.Positions AvailableWe have both Permanent Part time and Casual positions available.Permanent Part-time: work a minimum four days per week, with the opportunity for additional available shifts, up to full-time hours as our production is made to order.Casual positions will attract a 25% casual loading.Ideal candidatesWe are looking for individuals who:Understand the critical importance of quality, hygiene and food safety.Strictly adhere to all regulations, policies and procedures, and remind teammates when they forget.Are effective problem-solvers and great communicators.Are able to develop and maintain positive, collaborative working relationships.If you are an effective problem-solver, great communicator with the ability to develop and maintain positive and team-oriented working relationships, then we want to hear from you! 
Your new roleAs a Machine Operator or Production & Packing Team Member, you will be part of a team working under the supervision and guidance of a Shift Manager. 
You will be responsible for contributing to the production and/or packing of yogurt products in a timely manner, following approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.ResponsibilitiesMachine Operator responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Strictly follow all hygiene, quality, WHS and food safety regulations, SOPs, policies and proceduresSet up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycleControl and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed)Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machinesInspect parts with precision and measuring toolsTest operation of machines periodicallyFix issues within your skillset that might occur during the shiftCheck output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flawsKeep records of approved and defective units or final products and maintain activity logsResponsibilities for all Team Members (Machine Operator, Packing and Production) include, but are not limited to:Strictly follow all hygiene, quality and food safety regulations, SOPs, policies and proceduresWork at different stations as production requiresInspect, weigh, and package productsMonitor flow of product into processing machineryVerify compliance with quality, safety, production standards, work rules, and efficient operation of equipmentReport potential production downtime, scrap production, and quality of each machine and summarise data from shiftMaintain a clean and safe work environmentWhat you need to succeedMachine Operator only: Proven experience as a machine operator and working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer etc.)Desired experience in Food Manufacturing industryAbility to strictly follow all regulations, SOPs, policies and proceduresAbility to strictly adhere to Work, Health and Safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear)Able to lift up to 20 kilogramsAble to stand up to 4 hours at a timeDemonstrated ability to operate machineryMachine Operator only: Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manualsGood analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail, self-motivation, and initiative.The ability to taste yoghurt and yoghurt products throughout production stage, which means no allergies to dairy or nutsYou must have valid work rights in Australia and be able to provide two professional references of seniority.Employee BenefitsAdditional Leave: Two additional days of leave (pro-rata for part time)Birthday Leave - take a day off to celebrate youAccess to our confidential Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for counselling supportApplication processIf you want to join an amazing company and be part of a hard-working, yet fun team, then we want to hear from you.Please do not email your application directly: If you're ready to join our team, please apply via Seek.
