Position Overview
We are seeking skilled and safety-conscious Mechanical Fitters experienced in maintaining fixed plant equipment by carrying out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks in a safe and efficient manner. The successful candidates will work closely with Supervisors and Mine Maintenance Coordinators to maintain operational efficiency while adhering to rigorous safety and compliance standards. This role plays a critical part in supporting production and site operations within a structured and safety-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct routine inspections of fixed plant assets and determine repair action when required
Complete preventative and corrective maintenance for all equipment
Utilise SAP to ensure that maintenance tasks are recorded, assigned correctly and completed to the relevant standard / specification
Use of SAP to accurately record maintenance tasks
Isolate equipment for maintenance and operational tasks
Arrange for suitable equipment and materials to be available and appropriate allocation of resources to achieve planned outcomes

Annual target incentive of $10,000
Flexible FIFO or residential roster options including 8/6, 7/7, or 4/4/6 day rotations from various location throughout WA
Other FIFO options; Perth, Busselton, Albany, Geraldton, Broome, Derby
Requirements
Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required
Valid Class C manual driver's licence
Mechanical Engineering/Fitting trade qualification
Confined Space, Working at Heights, First Aid Certificates
High Risk Work Licences – LF, WP, DG / RB and OHTC (preferred)
Ability to successfully pass medical assessments and drug & alcohol screening
