You will manage processing procedures and specifications for new products, product enhancements, and cost reductions to meet project needs in a constantly evolving business environment.A Taste of What You'll Be DoingSupport the development and commercialization aspects of new product introductionsDriving product and process improvements to achieve cost and quality targets, whilst maintaining precise and appropriate documentationEnsuring products are commercialized on time, at cost targets and to appropriate functional, quality and regulatory standardsStrong partnership with the operations team and being the technical lead in planning and executing products from prototype development through to factory trial and commercializationDevelop experimental formulas, processing procedures, and specifications for raw ingredients, and finished products for NPDPutting food quality first through identifying and implementing improvements in product design and processes while maintaining product consistencySpecifications management including raw materials, processing manuals and finished product specificationsMaintain records for R&D tax concession claim and complete accurate and timely information for Stage gate documentationSupport labeling, nutritional, regulatory, quality and food safety effortsWe're Looking for Someone WithWe are looking for an experienced Product Developer who is passionate about food. With a continuous improvement mindset, you will not only have experience in new product development, but also the improvement of existing products.
