We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our Emergency Relief team in Morwell. As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of families and individuals facing tough times.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Greet clients and record intake information
* Assess needs and provide referrals to support services
* Pack and distribute food and material aid
* Data entry and basic administrative tasks
* Pick up food from local partners using our van available for use
Requirements:
* A warm and empathetic nature
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds
* Basic computer/data entry skills helpful but not essential
* Willinngness to undergo Working with Children Check and National History Check
* Criminal History Check
