Our commitment to innovative and sustainable environmental solutions makes Neilly Group a dynamic and fulfilling place to work.The Role:Undertake streambank and gully remediation design projects with a strong practical and technical focus.Undertake sediment assessment and contribute to environmental impact assessments.Apply skills in GIS spatial analysis, photogrammetry, and site-based design approaches.Support hydraulic and hydrologic modelling as required (e.g., using HECRAS, TUFLOW, RORB), while focusing primarily on design and implementation aspects.Engage in business development activities, including the preparation of bids and tenders.About You:A relevant Degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.Over 2 years of experience in waterway engineering, with a focus on streambank and gully remediation design.Demonstrated experience in field-based project work and design implementation.Ability to work both autonomously and as a team player, with a willingness to contribute to a collaborative and values driven work culture.Embrace opportunities for personal development.Passionate about waterway engineering.Skills and Experience:Proficiency in GIS and photogrammetry software tools.Proficiency in civil design software such as 12D.Design experience in streambank and gully remediation (e.g., use of fluvial geomorphology, natural channel design principles).Experience conducting sediment assessments following Paddock to Reef technical guidelines.Familiarity with HECRAS, TUFLOW, and RORB for hydraulic and hydrologic assessments.Experience in GoldSim and water balance modelling is advantageous.A high level of written and verbal communication skills.Benefits:Competitive salary package and opportunities for professional growth.Supportive and flexible working environment.Working for a small company with a great culture that sees strength in teamwork.
