About The Opportunity
This School Officer role is part of our Support Team and works closely with our STIEs and Behaviour Support Teachers to provide coordinated assistance across the school.
In This Position You Will Be Responsible For
Assessing and monitoring the progress of students and identify learning areas to provide evidence-based intervention strategies for students requiring additional learning scaffolding, including students with learning disabilitiesAssisting in the development of varying teaching methods, materials, and assessments to cater to the diverse learning styles and abilities within the classroomGathering insights into students' individual needs and develop appropriate strategies to improve student learning outcomesCollaborating with school specialists in organising and assisting with intervention groups to coordinate servicesEnsuring overseas student’s families are provided with information on the school's enrolment requirements, application procedures, and any documentation, addressing any queries or concerns.
About You
To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:
Experience assessing and monitoring student progress to identify areas for targeted interventionExposure to creating diverse teaching methods and assessments to accommodate various learning stylesSkilled in developing strategies to enhance student learning outcomes based on individual needsExperience in collaborating with specialists to address student needsKnowledge about the specific needs for First Nations and international students including cultural considerations Certificate III in Education SupportFor this position you are not required to be Catholic.
