Navantia Australia plays a key part in the Australian government's Naval Shipbuilding Plan, we are committed to growing Australia's shipbuilding and sustainment capability and we want you to grow your career with us. We are growing considerably and are seeking expressions of interest from talented Naval Architects at all levels to join our teams based in Sydney Garden Island Defence Precinct office.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside industry leaders and like-minded engineers on sustaining Navantia designed warships in service with the Royal Australian Navy (including Hobart Class DDGs, Canberra Class LHDs and Supply Class AORs).
As the ideal candidate, you will have:
* Tertiary qualifications in Engineering
* Demonstrated experience working in the Defence or Maritime industry (desirable).
* Eligibility for an Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA) Defence Security Clearance
* Australian Citizenship
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* The ability to build and maintain strong relationships and networks with key stakeholders whilst working collaboratively across a diverse and complex environment.
* Flexible and effective when adapting to changing priorities and complexity in a time constrained environment.
