TRUCK DRIVER

We are seeking a Truck Driver to join our Aubigny team, you will be responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of company vehicles while ensuring timely and compliant delivery of goods. Whilst you may be to operate smaller vehicles from time to time, the main vehicle to which you will be responsible will be a Kenworth Prime Mover.
The successful applicant must have a good understanding and compliance with COR (Chain of Responsibilities) and Transport Regulations. Safety, professionalism, and attention to detail are essential in this role.
About The Role/essential Requirements
* Safely operate company vehicles to transport various products and materials
* Conduct daily pre-start inspections and perform basic preventative maintenance where trained
* Plan and follow efficient and safe delivery routes to meet schedules
* Secure freight properly to prevent loss or damage
* Verify loading documentation and obtain delivery confirmations
* Proven experience as a truck driver with a minimum of 2 years' experience driving a prime mover
* Valid driver's licence appropriate for the vehicle class. Minimum requirement of a HC class license
* Physically fit and capable of handling the demands of the role
* Predominantly local travel, however flexibility for interstate/overnight travel required
* Excellent organisational and planning skills
* Clear communication skills and ability to work well within a team
* Reliable, self-motivated, and deadline-focused
