Position Summary
Part‐time (28 hours per week, .8 FTE), teaching focussed opportunity at the School of Education VIC – Melbourne. The Lecturer will deliver high quality and innovative teaching and learning, develop lectures, tutorials and other classes in Education Studies at undergraduate, honours and postgraduate levels, and contribute to curriculum design and supportive learning environments.
Responsibilities
The Lecturer will coordinate and lead teaching activities, collaborate with senior academic staff to support the University's Strategic Plan, and integrate principles of social justice, truth and care for the common good into academic work.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Professional teaching experience in Education Studies or related discipline.
* Commitment to the University's Catholic identity and mission, and ability to apply principles of social justice in teaching.
* Demonstrated highest standards of professional behaviour and continuous improvement.
* Australian work rights and, for permanent/continuing roles, permanent work rights.
* Working with Children Check (WWCC) and/or Working with Vulnerable People Check (WWVP) required (ACT only).
* Willingness to complete mandatory pre‐employment declarations and background checks.

* Remuneration pro‐rata: $142,635 – $168,287 per annum (total), with salary component $120,529 – $142,305 per annum (Academic Level B).
