About the role
JABB Mining Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Operator to join our dynamic team in Nambour, Queensland. As an Operator, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our mining site, operating a range of heavy machinery and equipment to support our construction projects.
What you'll be doing
1. Safely and efficiently operate a variety of heavy machinery, including excavators, loaders, and bulldozers
2. Perform routine maintenance and inspections on all equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety
3. Follow all company policies and procedures, as well as relevant health and safety regulations
4. Collaborate with the wider construction team to ensure project timelines and objectives are met
5. Maintain detailed records of equipment usage, maintenance, and any incidents
6. Contribute to a positive and productive work environment
What we're looking for
1. Proven experience as an Operator in the construction or mining industry, with a strong understanding of heavy machinery operation
2. Relevant qualifications, such as a Certificate in Plant Operations or equivalent
3. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety
4. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions
5. Positive communication and problem-solving skills
6. A valid driver's licence and the ability to obtain any necessary licences or certifications
