Offer description

Base salary ranges from $113,574 to $125,720 plus employer's contribution to superannuation of 12% and annual leave loading.

About the role

We have an opportunity for a Vocational Counsellor to be part of our Health, Safety & Wellbeing Command. The Vocational Counsellor is responsible for providing subject matter expertise to our Career Transition Unit to build internal capability, identify vocational opportunities and implement process improvements to support NSWPF employees who are undertaking a career transition after a physical or psychological injury. This role will provide expert advice and guidance regarding vocational counselling, identification of transferable skills and support services to improve the experience and outcome for these employees.

Describe the processes and tools you use to assess a client's skills, education/training, interests, and values to identify viable vocational options which are supported by the labour market. Can you provide an example of a time when your intervention as a vocational counsellor led to a significant positive outcome for a client?

Target Question 2:

Provide an example of when you designed and delivered coaching or capability-building for a team. How did you engage the team and tailor your training? What was the outcome?
