The Role :
Membership Consultants are the “Engine Room” of our business. They promote and represent our company, its values, and culture. They seek out new members and demonstrate why Fitness Cartel Australia is the best place for them to reach their fitness goals. We are currently looking for an energetic, sales-savvy Membership Consultant to join our Tweed Heads Club!
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and grow the club member base through new membership sales.
* Generate leads using creative and varied techniques, including promoting the facilities to local businesses and the community.
* Achieve the required number of lead contacts via telephone to maximize sales opportunities.
* Provide sales presentations and tours to prospective members, highlighting features and benefits that meet their fitness needs.
* Create positive and personalized member journeys through interactions.
* Follow up on enquiries to achieve successful outcomes.
* Track leads, appointments, and sales daily on our CRM.
* Work with your team to meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
* Prioritize and complete tasks in a timely manner.
* Perform other related duties as required.
What you’ll need to succeed:
* 3+ years of previous sales experience, preferably in the fitness industry but not mandatory.
* A financially motivated individual with a natural drive to achieve targets.
* Experience in a KPI-driven environment with proactive lead generation skills.
* Ability to build rapport with diverse individuals and a desire to help others succeed.
* Problem-solving skills and resilience to overcome obstacles.
* Excellent communication skills—listening, understanding, empathizing, and influencing.
* Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to excellent outcomes.
* Ability to be a role model and embody healthy values and behaviors.
* A positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
* Reliability, professionalism, punctuality, and a well-presented appearance.
