About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Coordinator to support and oversee our Family Day Care educators. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with state and national regulations while fostering high-quality learning environments. You will be responsible for monitoring, mentoring, and supporting educators to uphold our service's values and legislative requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Support and mentor Family Day Care educators to deliver high-quality education and care.
Conduct regular home visits to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Assist educators with curriculum planning and implementation of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
Monitor attendance records and ensure documentation is up to date.
Provide guidance on child development, safety, and educational best practices.
Work closely with families to support their needs and enhance children’s learning experiences.
Ensure all policies, procedures, and national regulations are adhered to.
Organise training, professional development, and networking opportunities for educators.
Collaborate with the team to continuously improve the quality of our service.
Promote a child safe organisation
Qualifications & Requirements:
Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent qualification from a recognized RTO).
Current First Aid, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis Certificates.
Employee Working with Children Check.
Current Police Check clearance
Child Protection
Skills & Experience:
Extensive experience in the childcare sector.
Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Framework (NQF).
Experience in mentoring and supporting educators.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to monitor and assess compliance with national and state regulations.
Proficiency in administrative tasks and software such as Harmony Web.
