Medacs Healthcare is partnering with a new Hospital in the Home (HITH) service model, based in Melbourne city that is scheduled to open in early 2026 We are seeking experienced Registered Psychiatric Nurses (RPN3) with a passion for community-based mental health care to join our innovative team. About the Role As part of this pioneering service, you will deliver high-quality mental health care in a community setting, supporting consumers in their own homes. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive mental health assessments and therapeutic interventions in the community. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated care. Manage risk effectively and ensure compliance with the Mental Health and Wellbeing Act 2022. Support consumers and their families through recovery-focused engagement. Selection Criteria Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA. Postgraduate qualifications in Mental Health Nursing (or equivalent) - essential Minimum of three years' full-time experience in mental health settings (acute, community, or crisis intervention) for domestic candidates, or four years for international candidates. Comprehensive knowledge of the Mental Health and Wellbeing Act 2022 and contemporary service frameworks. Strong assessment, risk management, and therapeutic engagement skills.
