Job Summary:
This role involves delivering exceptional patient care and supporting nursing staff in a rural and remote setting. As a key member of the multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing clinical expertise, education, and support to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver evidence-based, person-centred care to patients
• Support and educate nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
• Collaborate with other healthcare colleagues to achieve optimal patient outcomes
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent certification relevant to the position and registration with AHPRA
• Ability to work all shifts in accordance with the unit roster, including participation in an on-call roster

Working Environment:
The role is based in a 10-bed rural facility, comprising 4 aged-care beds and 6 acute inpatient beds, and also provides a Hospital-Based Ambulance Service (First Responder) to the town and surrounding community.
