What's the role?
We're looking for a Commercial Content Editor to join our dedicated, high-performance team at Suddenly, a News Corp-owned content marketing agency for a 12-month maternity cover contract.
Based in our Bowen Hills location, this role will be responsible for generating best-in‐class content ideas and producing high-quality, audience-driven and digital-first written content that meets our retail clients' marketing objectives.
This role involves writing across a variety of channels, producing SEO articles, digital assets, and copy for social media carousels and videos. The ideal candidate understands how to write for a range of platforms and formats, while staying true to brand voice.
What you need
* A sunny, collaborative and proactive attitude
* An innovative mindset, with a hunger to learn and develop
* The ability to work autonomously
* Excellent writing, grammar and editing skills in English
* Ability to handle multiple tasks with different deadlines
* While not essential, a basic working knowledge of Adobe InDesign and Photoshop is useful for this position
Who are you?
* You have exceptional writing skills across all digital content formats from longform SEO content to shortform digital assets
* You can continuously generate fresh concepts and ideas to keep our retail client at the cutting edge
* You love tracking digital content trends and have a solid understanding of fit-for-platform writing and content creation
* Exceptional time management skills with the ability to develop and work across multiple projects to tight production timelines
* Experience in, or willingness to learn, video production, including script‐writing
* Ability to navigate creative conversations with team members across multiple disciplines
