About the role
South West Healthcare (SWH) is looking for a qualified and experienced Senior Mental Health Clinician to join our Centralised Triage Team. This team is responsible for conducting timely mental health screening assessments and ensuring consumers are directed to the most appropriate service for assessment and treatment. Where specialist mental health services are not best placed to meet a person's needs, the team facilitates warm referrals to the most suitable alternative supports or providers.
As a Senior Clinician, you will play a key leadership role in delivering high-quality, trauma-informed, and recovery-oriented mental health triage services. In addition to providing direct clinical care, you will also support and guide team members, helping to ensure a consistent and effective service across a 24/7 roster.

* Classification and Salary Range (pro rata+ superannuation):

o Registered Psychiatric Nurse Grade 4: $112,465.60 – $121,113.20
o Social Worke Grade 3: $101,597.60 – $116,074.40
o Occupational Therapist Grade 3: $101,597.60 – $116,074.40
o Psychologist Grade 3: $108,279.60 – $123,905.60
What you bring:
You will be part of a collaborative and experienced multidisciplinary team, where strong communication skills, both written and verbal are essential. A solid understanding of relevant legislation, regulations, and contemporary mental health practices is also required.
Depending on your profession, you will have:
Registered Psychiatric Nurse
* Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in mental health service delivery
* A postgraduate qualification in Mental Health Nursing (e.g., Postgraduate Diploma or Master's)
or
* Completion of a specialist undergraduate Mental Health Nursing program
Social Worker
* Degree in Social Work
* Eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
* Minimum of 7 years' experience in mental health service provision
Occupational Therapist
* Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
* Registration with AHPRA
* Minimum of 7 years' experience in mental health service provision
Psychologist
* Registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in the provision of mental health services
