Love music and helping people? This is a great part-time opportunity to join the dynamic inpatient mental health team in delivering a variety of activities to our patient population, helping them on their recovery journey.
As the music Therapist, you will work closely with the development and delivery of the group/activity program and determine the individual and group music sessions which our patients will most benefit from.

Selection Criteria:
* Qualifications in accordance with Schedule C of the NSW Health Service Health Professionals (State) Award and must be eligible to apply for accreditation as a Registered Music Therapist with the Australian Music Therapy Association and demonstrated commitment to continuing professional development.
* Demonstrated core competency skills in music therapy supporting consumers with mental health concerns.
* Demonstrated high level written, verbal and interpersonal skills, to both engage patients/clients and work effectively with the multi-disciplinary team.
* Demonstrated ability to exercise independent professional judgement in the provision of clinical care using evidence based practice, commensurate with years of experience.
* Demonstrated commitment to the use and application of professional and clinical digital technologies.
* Demonstrated participation or leadership in quality improvement processes and teaching, commensurate with years of experience.
* Ability to respond to the demands and pressures of the role while managing time effectively.
* Willingness to travel in accordance with the demands of the position.
