About the Role
As a Cleaner, you will be a valued member of the team, reporting to the Manager and providing high-quality cleaning services for the home and its residents.
Key responsibilities include:
* Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness across the facility
* Adhering to infection control, hygiene, and safety standards
* Working collaboratively within a supportive team environment
About You
You are a motivated, organised, and energetic individual with a flexible approach to work. You demonstrate strong teamwork skills, effective time management, and genuine empathy and compassion for older people.
Essential Skills and Requirements
* Strong teamwork and communication skills
* Friendly, positive, and professional manner
* Experience working in an aged care or similar environment
* Passion for working in aged care
* Basic computer skills
* Understanding of hygiene and workplace safety practices
* Current Police Check
* Valid working rights in Australia (VEVO/visa and/or passport)
Highly Desirable:
* Seasonal Influenza vaccination
* COVID-19 vaccination
Desirable Experience
* Knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards
* Experience in residential aged care or hospital environments
