Position Summary:
The Production Operators plays an essential role in the manufacturing and packaging of Mundella Foods' yoghurt products. The position involves assisting with yoghurt production processes, operating filling and packaging equipment, and preparing products for dispatch to suppliers and distribution centres. The role requires adherence to strict food safety, quality, and hygiene standards to ensure all products meet company and customer requirements. Production Operators work collaboratively as part of the production team and may be required to work across multiple areas of the plant as operational needs arise.
Key Responsibilities
· Assist with yoghurt production processes including batching, blending, filling, and packaging.
· Operate and monitor production and packaging machinery safely and efficiently.
· Pack finished products according to supplier, customer, and company specifications.
· Label, seal, and palletise products ready for dispatch to distribution centres and customers.
· Conduct visual inspections of products and packaging for quality and compliance.
· Maintain accurate records of production, packaging, and cleaning activities as required.
· Comply with all Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), food safety, and hygiene requirements.
· Assist with cleaning and sanitisation of equipment, work areas, and production lines.
· Handle raw materials, ingredients, and finished goods safely and correctly.
· Follow all work instructions, procedures, and reasonable directions from supervisors.
· Report any equipment faults, quality issues, or safety concerns immediately.
· Participate actively in continuous improvement and safety initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience
· Previous experience in food or dairy manufacturing (desirable but not essential).
· Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards (training provided).
· Experience in operating production or packaging machinery (preferred).
· Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $24.95 – $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 30 per week
