Financial Management Professional
The role of Financial Management Professional involves providing comprehensive financial analysis and reporting services to a Government client in Canberra. The successful candidate will work closely with the Finance Director to establish, manage and deliver high-quality finance team services.
* Develop and implement procedures, processes and management systems for astute financial management.
* Oversee, coordinate and support the activities and development of finance and financial support staff.
* Establish and implement client-specific financial reporting, including budgets, quarterly forecasts and asset under construction reporting.
* Prepare and present monthly management accounts and reports of actual against budget with detailed variance analysis.
* Manage and administer all financial transactions associated with leases, acquisition and divestments and capital works.
* Support accounts receivable functions, including billing, collections and reconciliation of lease payments.
* Undertake other accounting and financial management activities as directed by the Service Providers Representative (Account Director).

* Experience in financial management, including financial analysis and reporting.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Highly organized and efficient with excellent time management skills.
