Safety is a top priority in our industry. We are looking for a Health and Safety Officer to join our team.
As a Health and Safety Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring that all in-field work activities are planned and delivered in accordance with our safety system.
You will administer project, cross-project, and multi-discipline safety sub-committees, monitor and maintain WHS and incident registers, provide safety training and induction programs, and handle administration and record management to provide certainty and confidence in our capability to conduct internal safety system audits.
You will also coordinate, support, or lead safety activities during in-field deployment and undertake in-field audits.
We are looking for someone with relevant safety-related qualifications, certifications, and licenses, or project management qualifications in infrastructure delivery.
They should have in-depth knowledge of Victorian OHS codes of practices, ISO 45001, and safety audit practices, as well as demonstrated safety experience in infrastructure projects as either the client or the principal contractor.
The ideal candidate will also have proven experience in effective safety behaviour change, implementing safety processes, and influencing safer outcomes.
