About the Job:
We are seeking an experienced Operations Coordinator to join our team at one of Australia's Antarctic research stations. As a key member of the support staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the station's catering services.
Main Responsibilities:
* Catering Management: Coordinate the delivery of food and supplies to the station, including procurement and inventory management.
* Logistics Support: Assist with the planning and implementation of logistics operations, including transport and storage.
* Team Collaboration: Work closely with other station staff to ensure effective communication and teamwork.
Key Requirements:
* Operational Experience: Proven experience in operational roles, particularly in remote or field-based environments.
* Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
* Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
