We provide high-quality education and care through a program developed by passionate educators. We now have a position for an enthusiastic educator to join our dedicated team.
About the Role:
* Supervise and engage children aged 5–12 during before and after school hours and during the school holidays
* Assist with planning and implementing interactive activities that support children’s interests and wellbeing
* Basic food preparation for afternoon tea
* Foster strong, positive relationships with children and their families
* Work collaboratively to maintain a safe environment whilst complying with the National Quality Framework and My Time, Our Place
* Casual position, minimum 3 shifts per week, paid under the Children’s Services Award 2010
* Flexible working hours, Monday to Friday between 6:15-9:00am and 3:00-6:30pm plus extra hours during school holidays, on pupil-free days and covering sick/annual leave
About You:
* Must have relevant qualification in School Age Education and Care or ACECQA equivalent
* Must have current Victorian Working with Children Check and National Police Check (or be willing to obtain)
* Hold current certificates in First Aid (HLTAID012), CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis, Mandatory Reporting training and National Child Safety training (or be willing to obtain)
* Ability to think on your feet and take proactive action in evolving situations
* Friendly and innovative with a passion for inspiring and guiding the next generation
