Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining mobile and fixed plant equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. As a Maintenance Technician at IMS Australia, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our clients' operations by performing high-quality maintenance and repair tasks while adhering to strict safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on mobile and fixed plant equipment.
* Diagnose faults and perform preventative maintenance to reduce downtime.
* Inspect and test machinery to ensure operational reliability.
* Collaborate with engineers and other team members to troubleshoot complex issues.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
* Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with all regulations.
* Respond promptly to breakdowns and provide on-site support as needed.
About You
* Trade qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field.
* 3+ years of experience in maintenance roles within the mining or industrial sectors.
* Strong knowledge of mobile and fixed plant equipment.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
* Full working rights in Australia and a valid driver's licence.
