About the Role
We're on the lookout for Experienced & Trainee Soil & Concrete Testing Technicians to join our Townsville Team. This hands‐on role is laboratory and field based and will work on major projects throughout Darwin and surrounding areas.
Your Day-to-Day
* Testing soil and concrete, in the lab and out in the field.
* Preparing clear, accurate records and reports.
* Getting hands‐on at construction sites—manual work, plenty of action.
* Physical work both in the laboratory and in the field.
* Providing top‐notch service to our construction clients.
What's in It for You
* Trainees: $20 – $27.25 per hour (starting at $20 for trainees aged 18 years, with the pay rate increasing by age and trainee classification, in line with the Award).
* Junior trainees (under 21) are paid at the applicable Award junior rate, while adult trainees receive $27.25 per hour.

What You'll Need to Succeed
* A good team attitude, strong communication skills, and a solid work ethic.
* Physically capable to work on construction sites and in the laboratory.
* A current driver's licence and unrestricted Australian working rights.
* You will need current, long‐term work rights to work in Australia.
