A unique opportunity to work as a Heavy Vehicle Technician has arisen within our organisation.
The successful applicant will be responsible for conducting routine maintenance tasks, including inspections and repairs. They must be able to diagnose issues with complex mechanical systems and implement effective solutions.
The role also involves minor body repairs, electrical system testing and vehicle certification.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct thorough technical inspections of heavy vehicles
* Repair or replace faulty components, ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently
* Test and repair electrical systems
* Certify vehicles as roadworthy
About You
* You hold a Certificate III in Heavy Vehicle Technology or equivalent qualification
* You have experience in inspecting, repairing and maintaining light, medium and heavy vehicles
* You are a holder of a current Australian State or Territory class HR driver's licence
* You are an Australian citizen and able to maintain a Defence security clearance
