GRIFFITH REGIONAL AQUATIC LEISURE CENTRE ASSISTANT MANAGER (Permanent)

The Position: As Assistant Manager, you'll be a key part of our leadership team, working alongside the Centre Manager to:
* Lead by example – motivate and support staff across all departments (reception, gym, pool, classes).
* Drive high standards – ensure smooth, safe, and efficient daily operations.
* Coach and develop your team – provide day-to-day guidance, support training, and help others succeed.
* Champion customer service – create a friendly, welcoming environment for all users.
* Support compliance – uphold health & safety, safeguarding, and operational policies.
* Contribute to the centre's growth – assist with membership drives, community outreach, and service improvements.

Hours of work: 38 hours per week (rostered across a 7 day week). The position will work on a flexible rotating shift basis with the Griffith Regional Aquatic Leisure Centre Manager to ensure necessary operational management capacity is maintained at the Centre across the hours of operation.
Salary and conditions: Commencement annual salary range from $86,451.04 to $95, Grade 14) plus Superannuation.
Special conditions: This position is designated as a child-related position. It is an offence under NSW Legislation for a person convicted of a serious sex offence to apply for this position. Only those with current rights to work in Australia may apply.
