About the Role As the Head of Department - Mathematics, you will join a dynamic and progressive team with responsibility for the strategic and operational leadership of the Mathematics Department, including the delivery of QCAA syllabuses and the Australian Curriculum across Numeracy (Year 7/8), Year 7-10 Mathematics, Essential Mathematics, General Mathematics, Mathematical Methods, Specialist Mathematics, and the Short Course in Numeracy.
Your Responsibilities As the Head of Department - Mathematics, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Lead the school department to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
Engage in lifelong learning and professional development.
Build partnerships with students, parents, agencies, and community groups.
Set high standards for student and staff performance.
