Job Title: Client Manager, Wholesale Trustee
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Perpetual Corporate Trust, a leading fiduciary, custody, and digital business in Australia with operations in Singapore. As part of the Managed Funds Services team, the Client Manager will oversee a portfolio of clients, fostering effective relationships while ensuring compliance with laws, trust documentation, regulations, policies, and industry standards.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure delivery of service and operational excellence in line with Perpetual policies
* Manage client relationships, including maintaining relationship plans and conducting regular visits
* Ensure timely regulatory lodgements for schemes
* Assist senior team members to ensure compliance with plans and controls
* Monitor service providers such as investment managers, custodians, and administrators
* Support onboarding and integration of new business
* Manage off-boarding of winding-up schemes
* Develop operational relationships with key service providers
* Maintain the compliance system, ClientConnect, for assigned schemes
* Present at Board and Compliance Committee meetings as required
* Participate in due diligence for disclosure documents and fund promotion materials
* Manage billing for clients
* Review reports for compliance with reporting and disclosure requirements
* Escalate legal or regulatory issues to senior management
* Ensure timely completion of regulatory lodgements such as financial statements and tax returns
* Assist with compliance audits and risk reviews
About You
We're looking for someone with:
* Minimum 5 years' experience in Financial Services, including at least 3 years in financial operations
* Excellent client management and relationship skills
* Strong knowledge of fund structures and experience in the managed funds industry
* Experience in related fields such as property, banking, accounting, or tax is highly desirable
* Ability to handle pressure, negotiate effectively, and manage multiple tasks
* Strong attention to detail and process management skills
