Red Arrow Group Australia is a 100% Indigenous Owned company and has recently been awarded major project in Western Australia and seeking a Construction Manager to join the team.

Overview: The Construction Manager plays a pivotal role in managing and overseeing the civil / construction within a mine site. This position requires extensive knowledge of electrical civil / construction processes, strong leadership skills, and the ability to coordinate various tasks to ensure the timely and successful completion of the project. The Construction Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, contractors, and project manager, to ensure that all construction activities adhere to safety protocols, comply with regulatory standards, and meet the specific requirements of the mine site\'s infrastructure.

Responsibilities

* Develop detailed construction plans and schedules in alignment with project objectives and timelines.
* Coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure the efficient execution of construction activities.
* Conduct regular meetings to review project progress, address issues, and adjust plans as necessary.
* Efficiently manage and allocate resources, including equipment, materials, and workforce, to ensure the timely completion of the construction works.
* Monitor resource utilization and availability to optimize construction operations.
* Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure timely acquisition of necessary resources and materials.
* Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and standards throughout the construction process.
* Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify and address potential safety concerns promptly.
* Liaise with regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with all relevant legal requirements and environmental standards related to construction.
* Provide strong leadership and guidance to the construction team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
* Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and implement training programs to enhance the team\'s skills and capabilities.
* Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and adherence to organizational values and safety standards.
* Establish and maintain effective communication channels with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
* Address any concerns or issues raised by stakeholders promptly and professionally, fostering positive relationships and ensuring project success.
* Reporting: Construction manager will be reporting to senior project manager. Weekly update to the client.

Qualifications

* Construction Management, or a related field.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing construction projects, with specific experience in fuel facility construction within the mining industry.
* In-depth knowledge of construction practices, safety regulations, and environmental standards relevant to the mining sector.
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
* Proficiency in project management software and tools for scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make informed decisions under pressure.
* Demonstrated experience in managing complex budgets and resources effectively.
* Sound understanding of relevant legal and regulatory requirements within the construction on mine sites.
