We are seeking an experienced professional to support senior members on key projects and contribute to successful performance as a whole.
* Develop project development pathways.

* Balance financial needs and cost recovery.
* Ensure projects deliver appropriate risk / return trade-offs and align with regulatory frameworks.
The position will involve developing papers to obtain approval for early project funding followed by relevant stage gates, ensuring sought budgets are appropriate considering risk / return / cost recovery dynamics.
Extensive engagement and interaction with internal subject matter experts in Network Planning, Project Delivery, Major Projects, Regulation and Corporate Finance teams will be required to support holistic development of emerging projects as approval is sought from Executive and Board.
About You
* 5 to 8+ years' experience in corporate finance, financial advisory, strategy consulting, contract management, project development, delivery and operations with a focus on commercial workstream roles or similar disciplines.
* Strong research skills to collect necessary information to progress new projects with ability to stay informed of market trends and innovations.
* Recent experience in structured large-scale network infrastructure asset processes is desirable.
* Understanding of National Electricity Rules and other key regulatory frameworks governing the electricity sector in Australia (particularly NSW) is desirable.
Qualifications
* Tertiary qualifications in law, economics/commerce, finance, business administration and/or equivalent experience.
* Additional graduate or post-graduate qualifications in one of the above areas or business qualifications (desirable).
