About the role: As Sales Director, you’ll play a critical leadership role in accelerating the firm’s growth. You’ll design and execute strategic sales initiatives that connect the firm’s high-impact financial services with the SMBs that need them most. This is a national role that combines strategic thinking, sales leadership, and relationship building. You’ll lead a growing sales team, build valuable partnerships, and drive meaningful business outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement a scalable, results-driven sales strategy aligned with the firm’s mission and growth objectives Identify and pursue new business opportunities across Australia, focusing on SMBs seeking financial advisory or restructuring services Build and maintain long-term relationships with accounting firms, legal professionals, referral partners, and SMB decision-makers Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing sales team that prioritises collaboration, accountability, and client success Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to enhance brand visibility Leverage and expand your existing network and referral base to generate qualified leads and partnerships Monitor market trends, client needs, and competitive dynamics to continually refine sales strategy Collaborate with marketing and advisory teams to align messaging and support sales initiatives Provide regular performance updates, forecasts, and insights to the CEO and leadership team About you: 7–10 years of experience in B2B sales, ideally within professional or financial services Experience in insolvency, restructuring, or financial advisory services is highly regarded Deep understanding of the challenges faced by Australian SMBs, with a passion for delivering meaningful solutions Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding ambitious sales targets Strong relationship builder who excels at identifying opportunities and nurturing trust-based connections If you feel like you don't tick all the boxes we would still love to hear from you!
