Registered Midwife - Rotational
Join Metro South Health as a Registered Midwife - Rotational. You will deliver safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care while rotating across all areas of Maternity Services at Logan Hospital. You will work collaboratively with women, their families, and the healthcare team to achieve the best outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, individualised care across antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal services.
- Rotate through Maternity Outpatients, Birth Suite, Maternity Assessment Centre, and Inpatient Unit.
- Support women's informed choice, cultural safety, and continuity of care.
- Contribute to a positive team culture through collaboration, mentorship, and reflective practice.

- Demonstrated ability to deliver safe, evidence-based care that is culturally responsive and inclusive.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to build partnerships with women, families, and colleagues.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development, reflective practice, and quality improvement.

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland, offering a range of services including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical, and paediatric care. As a teaching hospital, we support staff and students with training in most medical specialties and participate in research through partnerships with Queensland's medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.
