Leadership Opportunity – Early Learning
We're growing our leadership team and are seeking an experienced early childhood professional to join us in a leadership capacity.
This opportunity would suit an Educational Leader, Assistant Director, or Director who is looking to step into a supportive, hands-on leadership role within a well-established service. You'll work alongside an existing leadership team, contributing your experience, mentoring educators, and helping drive quality practice across the centre.
This is not a replacement role — it's an opportunity to strengthen our leadership structure as our service continues to grow and evolve. We already have strong leaders in place and are looking to add an experienced voice who values collaboration, high standards, and reflective practice.
We're especially keen to hear from someone who:
Has proven leadership experience in early learning
Enjoys mentoring and supporting teams
Is confident with the NQF, EYLF and quality improvement
Is looking for a leadership role without the pressure of sole responsibility
The position and title will be flexible, based on experience and strengths, with room to shape the role to suit the right person.
If you're an experienced educator ready to make a meaningful impact — we'd love to hear from you.
We are seeking a special candidate—someone who wants to grow, contribute, and lead with authenticity. A leader who believes in nurturing children holistically and embedding practices that build confidence, resilience and wellbeing… The Wholechild Way.
At Wholechild, no two children are the same and we celebrate that. Our curriculum is founded on our unique Five Foundations—supporting social, emotional, physical, cognitive and creative development. Our environment and practices are intentionally designed to foster the deepest possible learning in the most important years of a child's life.
The successful applicant will be a community-minded professional who is inspired by improving outcomes for children, empowering educators, and strengthening family connections every day.
