About the role:
We are looking for a self-motivated, results-driven Territory Manager to join our tight-knit QLD team. Predominantly based in Townsville, you will also cover Cairns, Airlie, and surrounding regional areas, driving sales growth, managing key relationships, and expanding our footprint - all while enjoying the freedom to run your territory with a high level of autonomy.
This role involves plenty of travel and time on the road, so it is ideal for someone located in Townsville who enjoys getting out into regional markets.
What you'll do:
Reporting to the NSW/QLD/ACT State Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
* Managing and growing existing customer relationships across on-premise and off-premise channels, always delivering professional, ethical, and high-impact service.
* Hunting for new business and securing fresh sales opportunities in your territory.
* Becoming an expert in our portfolio to provide top-tier product knowledge and insights to customers.
* Hitting and exceeding sales targets and KPIs set by AVL.
* Ensuring AVL products are front and centre in key retail spaces.
* Hosting regular wine tastings, promotional events, and participating in wine shows.
