Job Overview
The Cluster Commercial Manager plays a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and profit maximization across Hilton Northern Territory Cluster hotels.
This key position oversees business development activities, including planning and execution of commercial strategies, revenue management, sales, catering, events, marketing, e-commerce, and public relations.
Main Responsibilities:
* Developing and executing strategic plans to enhance total revenue and profit performance.
* Supporting the Revenue Management team in establishing optimal mixes, reviewing forecasts, developing strategies for different demand periods, and approving retail and group pricing strategies.
* Maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, owners, hotel teams, and external partners.
* Providing accurate monthly reports on sales leads and revenue for collation with cluster reports.
* Assisting in developing annual/quarterly/monthly budget forecasts and work plans.
* Producing the annual Revenue Plan, S&M budgets, and forecasts with the Cluster Commercial Director and Hotel Team.
* Key account management to increase Hilton's market power and closer match customer buying behavior for CORP, Leisure, and MICE.
* Developing Account Plans to mobilize sales resources for key accounts with highest potential.
* Ensuring measurement systems track targeted accounts' production.
* Identifying key retention and acquisition accounts annually for each salesperson.
* Actively seeking new business sources.
* Managing travel manager/booker programs.
* Promoting business for other Hilton Hotels through outbound sales.
* Meeting agreed targets on room nights/C&C revenue.
* Encouraging movement of sales revenue, events, and marketing people within the department and between Hilton hotels.
* Recruiting, inducing, training, and developing customers-facing sales, marketing, and revenue management staff.
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar capacity with international chain hotels.
* Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
* Able to work under pressure.
* An innovative self-starter with high motivation.
