Role description
We are seeking a skilled Azure .NET Developer to design, develop, and maintain cloud-based applications using Microsoft's .NET framework and Azure services. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a passion for clean code, and experience delivering scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions in the cloud.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and deploy applications using .NET Core / .NET Framework on Microsoft Azure.
* Implement and integrate Azure services such as Azure Functions, App Services, Azure SQL Database, Blob Storage, and Service Bus.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
* Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
* Optimise application performance, scalability, and security.
* Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
* Monitor and troubleshoot production issues, ensuring high availability and reliability.
Required Skills and Experience
* 5+ years of experience in C# and .NET Core / .NET Framework development.
* Strong understanding of Azure cloud architecture and services.
* Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
* Proficiency in SQL Server and Azure SQL.
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
* Knowledge of authentication and authorization (OAuth, Azure AD).
* Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Desired Skills/Experience
* Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-204: Developing Solutions for Microsoft Azure).
* Experience with event-driven architectures and serverless computing.
* Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
* Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
* Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
