Role Description
This is a full-time position for a Senior Litigation Lawyer (Associate / Senior Associate / Special Counsel level) within our Dispute Resolution Group. You will manage a diverse range of litigation matters, including agribusiness, commercial, property, and estate disputes. Responsibilities include drafting and settling court documents and correspondence, appearing in court, representing clients in mediations and negotiations, and working closely with clients to understand their objectives and implement effective legal strategies.
The role is ideally based in Toowoomba, but may be performed from any of our other offices, with the flexibility to work from home on a regular basis.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in litigation, including advice and pleading drafting, and court representation
* Strong negotiation and mediation skills
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple cases and work independently
* Proficiency in legal software and research tools
* Admission to practice law in Australia
* Commitment to providing quality service and maintaining professional ethics
* Experience in a full-service law firm environment is beneficial
