The Opportunity
We have a 3‐month fixed term chance for an experienced Warehouse Officer to join Lynas Kalgoorlie. We are looking for a hard‐working and reliable team‐player who has excellent attention to detail as well as flexibility to work within a busy warehouse environment. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, this fixed term position will work full‐time hours (5am‐3pm) on a 5/2:4/3 roster, working across our Warehouse at the Kalgoorlie REPF site. This opportunity may be extended or have the potential to become full time for the right applicant.
Key Responsibilities
* General warehouse duties and maintaining a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment
* Safely load and unload trucks of various configurations and sizes in a timely manner
* Maintain accurate inventory records with reconciliations, stock‐takes and stock control
* Raise purchase orders and goods receipting
* Assist in obtaining quotes from suppliers
* Operate equipment and machinery in a safe manner
* Prepare documentation for deliveries, returns, and audits
* Assist with freight bookings and courier coordination
* Other general warehouse‐relating activities, as required.
The Successful Candidate will possess the following essential criteria
* Previous experience in a warehouse and logistics position
* Certificate in Warehousing, Distribution or Storage of Dangerous Goods desired
* Demonstrated experience in receiving, issuing and inventory control
* Intermediate computer literacy, specifically with Excel
* Experience in Pronto/SAP desired
* Current High Risk Work Licence – Forklift Licence (LF)
* Confident operating abilities and physically capable of meeting the manual handling and ergonomic requirements of safely operating plant equipment in line with manufacturer specifications
* Comfortable with manual handling and physical tasks
* Strong customer focus with the ability to provide reliable service to peers and various departments across site
