Role Description
This is a part-time Accountant role (4 days a week) located in Mount Barker, SA. On-site work is required, but we are flexible with work-from-home arrangements. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing and examining financial statements, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and providing financial advice to clients. The role also involves performing reconciliations.
Qualifications
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional certification such as CPA or CA
- Experience in financial record-keeping, preparing financial statements, and tax compliance
- Skills in Xero software and reconciliations
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Proficiency with accounting software Xero Blue and Green
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in a public accounting firm is a plus
