Job Opportunity
The Senior Back End Developer will report directly to the Director of Delivery and join a skilled team of engineers responsible for the ongoing development of large-scale applications. This role offers an exceptional chance for an engineer to make a significant impact and enhance the existing technical capabilities by bringing in a diverse skill set.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in senior engineering with several years of experience working with legacy architecture, preferably in financial services or gaming environments. Proficiency in multiple programming languages such as C++, C#, VB6, and .Net is essential, along with expertise in database management using SQL and Azure databases.
Main Responsibilities
1. Effective communication and coordination of necessary improvements
2. Project management and planning to deliver timely and effective solutions
3. Coding and documentation using clear and comprehensive methodologies
4. Problem-solving and thinking critically, with a natural curiosity to drive innovation
About You
1. Senior Engineering background with multiple years of experience delivering complex projects in Monolithic architecture (Financial services or Gaming environment)
2. Multilingual proficiency in C++, C#, VB6, and .Net programming languages
3. Strong skills in Database management with SQL and Azure databases
4. Familiarity with CI/CD technologies and containerization using Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or Octopus Deploy
5. Understanding of SOA and Microservices architecture is beneficial
6. API management and testing within automated and manual testing environments
